Dear Ms. Goodwin,
Per your request, this letter has been provided for the above referenced property. In reviewing our files, the
property in question appears to have several open building permits. Building permit #BLD-22-97, which expired on
8/9/23, and building permit # BLD-22-118, which expired on 8/29/23. Additionally, the above refenced building
does not have a valid operating permit, as the current operating permit (OP-20-3) has expired as of 1/24/23. All of
the items listed above are violations of chapter 125 of the Town of Ithaca Code. A building permit is required to be
issued and remain active until a certificate is issued, in accordance with section 125-5 and 125-8 of the Town of
Ithaca Code. Operating permits or fire safety inspections are required to be conducted and compliance documents
issued in accordance with section 125-9 and 125-10 of the Town of Ithaca Code.
This property is located in Planned Development Zone #4 (Limited Mixed Use, Statler West). Currently,
there does not appear to be any additional open or active zoning violations associated with this property, except as
identified above.

permits, and copies of the certificates of occupancy or certificates of compliance that have been requested. Please
