Hi Matt,
Thanks for providing the additional information. From my review of your materials, it looks like the proposed antenna
will be smaller than the existing and that it and the cabinet are a replacement in kind.
Marty can confirm this, but I believe the antenna will comply with the Streamlined provisions in the Town Code.
The cabinet was already reviewed and approved by the Planning Board (it was the only reason why the project went to
the board in the first place). The proposed swap does not meet the criteria in Town Code Section 270-191 (site plan
modification)that would warrant another trip to the Planning Board. So you are all set on our end—no Planning Board
appearance necessary.
You may still need a building permit,though, so I am sending you back to Marty.

Good morning,
This is a maintenance job to bring the site up to date with the rest of the new sites going in the field. We are swapping
an old antenna and swapping cabinet to make the site cleaner.
Attached are the specifications for the new antennas and radios which state the size of the antenna and remote radio.
The Antenna is a like-for-like replacement, and the Radios are installed on the platform and not visible to the public. No
electrical work, all plug-and-play.Typically, the answer is no permit but we just wanted to make sure.

I received you email from one of our inspectors. Could you provide some additional information to confirm is a permit is
required or not. What antenna are being removed and what antenna are being installed. What are the sizes of both the
old antenna and the new antenna?What is the size of the remote radio and the proposed remote radio?

The streamlined process does require a building permit to be issued, I have also included Chris Balestra on this email in
the event that she has any comments from our Planning Department.
