COUNTY OF TOMPKINS On the 6 day of February in the year 1928 before me personally
came William B. Corcoran, to me known, who, being by me duly sworn, did depose and say that
he resides in Ithaca, N.Y.: that he knows subscribers to be the individual described in,
and who executed the foregoing instrument; that he, said subscribing witness was present and
saw them execute the same; and that he, said witness, at the same time subscribed his name
as witness thereto.

N.Y. State G. & E. Corp. Dollar ($1.00) in consideration of which I hereby grant, con-
- - - - - - - - - - - - - X vey and release unto said Company, its successors and assigns,
the right, privilege and authority to construct, reconstruct, operate, maintain and at its
pleasure remove its electric lines, or any parts thereof including the necessary poles, wires
guys and appurtenances, for conducting and distributing electricity for public and private
use, as said Company may now or from time to time deem necessary, along, upon and across the
highways which adjoin or are upon the property and upon, over and along the property which I
own or in which _ have an interest situated along Hanshaw Road about .1 mile from road
known as Forest Home Road, in the Town of Ithaca, County of Tompkins, State of New York,with
the right to trim or cut down aow and from time to time, without further payment any trees
or brush along said line to a width of 6 feet on both sides of the line as from time to time
maintained. The said Company shall pay for any other damages to said property for which the
Company or its agents are responsible. Said damages to be ascertained by two disinterested
freeholders to be selected and paid one by each party; they to select a third in case of non -
agreement, who shall be paid one-half by each party. IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set
my hand and seal the 6 day of February in the year 1929.
