Storm sewers seem only solution- Recommended District pre-
sents taxation probltms(BOCES-Dormitoryi,%Authority). Attorney
Buyoucas will check exemption status. Lozier's to study Ren-
wick Brook Drainage Basin to determine effects and requirements
within Village of proposed or future town improvemnts were
attempted. Costs to Village if they share in consiiruction of
Pond law will protect people against damages(drainage) incurred
as a result of these constructions made by BOCES and School
District.
Councilman Desch made the motion seconded by Supervisor Kerr
that Lozier's engineers do the study.

VOTED RESOLVED that Election Districts 7 and8 will vote at
Moalley House(Cornell University)Warren Road, on Election Day,
November 4th 1969.
RESOLUTION 455 - SOUTH HILL

Our concern is to get water to Ithaca College but their over -
usage affects reserves of the South Hill Water District.
Remttdial improvements will cost about $155,000.00.
VOTED RESOLVED that Board continue to explore Ithaca College's
involvement and ability to share in costs of proposed pumping
station.
RESOLUTION 456 - ENVELOPEs
Supervisor Kerr made the motion, seconded by Councilman
McElwee that a check for $294.80 be issued to the Post Master,
Ithaca, New York, for the purchasing of Tax Notice envelopes.

Supervisor Kerr made the motion seconded by Councilman Desch
that with the appointment of Catherine Gaffney, 106 Valley
Road, Ithaca, New York, by the Town Clerk, be approved.

Supervisor Kerr made the motion seconded by Councilman Desch
that with the approval of Highway Sup't Morey, the Town accept
Tudor Road and Charlene Road to permit the bus -pickups of
schoolchildren in the housing complex.

AM% RESOLUTION 459 - WATER MAIN
VOTED RESOLVED that 15 Tap Permits be issued for Tudor and
Charlene Roads. City cannot tap without digging roads at
later date. THIS DOES NOT constitute approval of a building
/08k.� permit.
RESOLUTION 460 - SNYDER HILL ROAD
WATER DISTRICT
BOND ANTICIPATION NOTE
A notion was made by Supervisor Keer and seconded by Council-
man McElwee that the Board approve renewal of the following
Bond Anticipation Note.
Snyder Hill Road Water District ------ Due October 25, 1969
$196,000.00
and authorize the supervisor to execute such renewal and such
instruments as may be legally required to effect such renewal.

RESOLUTION 461 - ACCEPTANCE OF
INDIAN CREEK ROAD
Councilman Desch made the motion seconded by Councilman
McElwee that the Town accept Indian Creek Road. Sup't. of High-
ways agreed.

RESOLUTION 462 - EASTERN 2�JSEIOIGTING DISTRICT
VOTED RESOLVED that Eastern Heights request for forming a light-
ing district be approved. The lighting district would have
27 additional ornamental lights with an annual estimated cost
of $2,712.50 dharged against about 110 homes when entire Sec-
tion 2 is developed.
RESOLUTION 461 - SNYDER HILL
"No! SPEED REDUCTION
VOTED RESOLVED to petition the New York State Department of
Transportation to reduce speed limit on Snyder Hill Road to
35 miles an hour(Ithaca-Dryden Town Line to Pine Tree Road).
