Seconded by Councilman Mayer Ayes - Fayer, Baker, Bishop, Noes - 0 Carried. following resolution and the August 9, 1965 Town Board McElwee and Kerr ACCEPTAJCE OF ROADS Supervisor Kerr offered the following resolution and moved Its adoption: 1RESOLVED that the Town of Ithaca accept Winthrop Drive (the portion within the Town) and Sandra ri ce with the under- standing that final grading be done according to the specifications of Highway Sup't. Marion rorey and with the understanding that the Town Board pay fir. Otto Schoenfeld for the seN,,er lines already constructed within the road right of way. Seconded by Councilman Vayer Ayes - Baker, Bishop, Mayer, McElwee and Kerr Noes - 0 Carried APPROVAL OF S�HOF?IFELD LINFS Mr. Frpnk Liguori of the Tompkins County Health Dept. suggested that the town should file AnplicPtion Forms #4 and #5 to ask for Health Depertment approval of Schoenfeld sewer lines. Fr. Otto Schoenfeld was present to discuss with the Town Board rlans for future development and extensions of sewer lines. Plans for the area were referred to Yr. James Dunlap of Lozier's Inc. and rr. Dunlap was asked to notify P'r. Liguori after he determines that the plans fit overall plans for sewer development. Mr. Schoenfeld stated that in the future the costs of engineering and construction of the lines would be Included in the sale price of the lots and then the lines would be deeded to the Town. Mr. Dunlep stated that the usual procedure is that sub -division glans are filed showing road profiles and plans for sanitary sewers and easements that might be needed. These plans would be submitted to the Planning moped and Town Board for approval. After construction is finished the Town Board Pcting as the district would then accept the severs. Fr. Schoenfeld and Yr. Hamilton both agreed thet their understanding is that future sever mains would be built end financed by Mr. Schoenfeld and then would be deeded to the District. REPORT ON NESD Mr. William O'Boyle presented a progress report on the Northeast Sewer District now under construction by Howard and Sprague. He estimates the construction is approximately 20% complete and said that lines would be tested and hooked up for use as soon as possible. There have been very few problems and very little rock to contend with. Cost estimates were presented using a unit as 100 feet of frontage with no more then four units in
