TB Resolution No. 2022 - 17: Approval and Acceptance of a Revised Zoning Map (Effective April 1, 2004, Revised December 11, 2006, August 13, 2012, January 13, 2014, December 11, 2017,
and January 24, 2022) to Reflect Previously Approved Rezoning’s
Whereas, the Chain Works District Planned Development Zone and the zoning modification for the Amabel subdivision (LDR to MDR) have been enacted through local laws by the Town Board
since the current official Zoning Map was adopted, and
Whereas, a revised Town of Ithaca Zoning Map, Effective April 1, 2004, Revised December 11, 2006, August 13, 2012, January 13, 2014, December 11, 2017, and January 24, 2022, has been
prepared and presented to the Town Board for review,includingzoning boundary changes that the Town Board previously approved through adoption of local law numbers 12 of 2021 and 4 of
2018 that rezoned the Chain Works District Planned Development Zone and theAmabel subdivision and amended the official zoning map accordingly, and
Whereas, at the regular meeting on January 10, 2022, the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca has reviewed the revised Town of Ithaca Zoning Map referenced above, and
Whereas, this action is a Type II action pursuant to Part 617.5 (c) (26) of the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR), and Chapter 148 of the Code of the Town of Ithaca
titled “Environmental Quality Review”, thereby not being subject to further environmental review,
Now, therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca hereby determines that the revised Zoning Map, Effective April 1, 2004, Revised December 11, 2006, August 13, 2012, January 13, 2014,
December 11, 2017, and January 24, 2022, correctly incorporates changes made to the official Town of Ithaca Zoning Map, including zoning boundary changes that the Town Board previously
approved through adoption of local law numbers 12 of 2021 and 4 of 2018 that rezoned the Chain Works District Planned Development Zone and the Amabel subdivision and amended the official
zoning map accordingly, and be it further
Resolved, that the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca hereby approves and accepts the revised Town of Ithaca Zoning Map, Effective April 1, 2004, Revised December 11, 2006, August 13,
2012, January 13, 2014, December 11, 2017, and January 24, 2022, and determines that such map shall be used as the official Town of Ithaca Zoning Map until superseded by further action
of the Town Board, or until further modified by local law.
