TB Resolution 2022 - 033: Amend Town of Ithaca Fee Schedule – Code Enforcement Fees – Add Short-Term Rental Operating Permit Fee
Whereas, TB Resolution 2009-227 adopted the establishment and setting of fees by Town Board resolution; and
Whereas, the Town of Ithaca has established a Short-Term Rental Operating Permit with associated inspection(s) to be issued to any Short-Term Rental operating in the Town, and
Whereas, the Director of Code Enforcement has reviewed the process and proposed a fee of $150 per permit to cover the cost of inspections and administrative tasks by Town staff for accepting
and processing Short-Term Rental Operating Permits, and
Whereas, on February 28, 2022, the Personnel and Operations Committeereviewed the proposed fee and recommended it to the Town Board; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Ithaca Town Board hereby approves the rate of $150 (one hundred and fifty dollars) per Short-Term Operating Permit to the Town of Ithaca Fee Schedule, effective immediately.
