TB Resolution 2022-086: SEQR: Establishment of an Open Development Area for 172 Ridgecrest Road
Whereas, this action is the establishment of an open development area for 172 Ridgecrest Road, as identified in a map titled “Town of Ithaca 2022 Ridgecrest Road Water Improvements Project,
Ridgecrest Tank Proposed Site Plan,” and explained in a letter written by Daniel Thaete, P.E., Director of Engineering, Town of Ithaca, representing the town for the proposed open development
area at 172 Ridgecrest Road; and
Whereas, this is an Unlisted Action for which the Town Board is acting as lead agency in an environmental review with respect to this action; and
Whereas, the Town Board, at a meeting held on May 9, 2022, has reviewed, and accepted as adequate the Short Environmental Assessment Form Parts 1, 2 and 3, for this action, prepared
by Town Planning staff; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Town Board hereby makes a negative determination of environmental significance in accordance with Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation Law and 6 NYCRR Part
617 New York State Environmental Quality Review, for the above referenced action as proposed, based on the information in the EAF Part 1 and for the reasons set forth in the EAF Parts
2 and 3, and, therefore, a Draft Environmental Impact Statement will not be required.
