TB Resolution 2022 - 107: Authorization to award and execute contract for the 2022 Town of Ithaca Forest Home Crosswalk
Whereas on June 10, 2022, the Town’s Director of Engineering (Director) received proposals for the 2022 Town of Ithaca Forest Home Crosswalk Project.
Whereas the proposal is to construct/install (2) concrete curb ramps, modify and install granite curbing, construct 25 linear feet of sidewalk, install a select limestone retaining wall,
and perform associated miscellaneous grading and restoration, and
Whereas the Director has reviewed and determined that the proposal of $28,000 made Procon Contracting, P.O. Box 1037 Vestal, NY 13851, is the best value for the Town; now therefore be
it
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Supervisor to award and execute the contract for the 2022 Town of Ithaca Forest Home Crosswalk Project to Procon Contracting, subject
to final review by the Director and the Attorney for the Town, and be it further
Resolved that the Director is authorized to approve change orders without further authorization from this Board, provided that the maximum amount of such change orders does not exceed
$2000 in aggregate and the total project cost, including the contract, engineering, legal and other expenses, does not exceed the maximum authorized cost of the project of $30,000.
