TB Resolution 2022 –178c: Approval of 2023 Office and Field Classification Wage Scales
Whereas, the Town Board established a Wage Scale, which sets the Hiring Minimum and Job Rate for each job classification, which may be increased each year based on a Cost of Living Adjustment
(COLA); and
Whereas, the Personnel Committeereviewed and discussed Consumer Price Index (CPI-W) as well as other factors and recommendsfor the 2023Wage Scalesa 4.0% COLAon the Job Ratefor all classifications
when establishing the 2023 Office Wage Scale and Class VI of the Field Wage Scale; and
Whereas, the Class I-V of the Field Wage Scale are established through the collective bargaining agreement at 4.0% for 2023 and 4.0% for 2024; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca does hereby approve a 4.0% COLA on the Job Rate for all classifications when establishing the 2023 Office Wage Scale and Field Wage Scale(see
attached sheet).
