TB Resolution 2023- 066: Recognition ofYvonne Fogarty’s Dedicated Years of Service
Whereas, Yvonne Fogartyhas served the Town of Ithaca with dedication for nearly eleven years; and
Whereas, Yvonne was appointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals as an Alternate for the term of April 23, 2012, through December 31, 2012; and
Whereas, Yvonne was then appointed to the Planning Boardon January 1, 2013,and has demonstrated diligence throughout her appointment; and
Whereas, Yvonne also served as the Planning Board liaison to the town’s Codes and Ordinances Committee, where she was a committedmember until her resignation in 2022; and
Whereas, Yvonne has chosen to resign from her Planning Board role, effective April 18, 2023; and
Whereas, Yvonne has provided insight, knowledge, and sincerity in her time with the town; and
Whereas, the Town of Ithaca is grateful for Yvonne’s service as an active, participating member of the Planning Board; and has greatly benefited from her considerate review of Planning
Board projects and documents, and her desire to serve our municipality; and
Whereas, the Town of Ithaca is indebted to Yvonne for her invaluable contributions to the community; now, therefore, be it
Resolved that on this 10thday of April 2023, the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca, on behalf of the Town and its residents, expresses its sincere appreciationand gratitude to Yvonne
Fogarty for her dedicated service to our community.
