TB Resolution 2023-152: Recognitionof Lori Shurtleff’sDedicated Years of Service
Whereas Lori Shurtleff started her career at the town on May 31, 2016, as an Administrative Assistant I for the Public Works Department bringing years of knowledge and experience in
administrative support in the public sector; and
Whereas Loriis admired for her always positive, friendly, and cooperative attitude and a happy smiling “good morning” for everyone; and
Whereas Lori’s impeccable attention to detailand thoroughness is greatly appreciated as her specialty is the data input for PubWorks and creating workflows and managing data for OpenGov;
and
Whereas Lori with her nurturing nature tended the flower gardens, provoking much adoration and many compliments by visitors and staff; and
Whereas Loriis always willing to help with the annual holiday luncheon, training luncheons, and the daily replenishing of the candy and soda supplies; and
Whereas the Town of Ithaca has greatly benefited from Lori’senthusiasm, determination, and desire to serve our community; and
Whereas after seven(7) years of dedicated service,Lori has chosen to retire from the Town of Ithaca effective September 30, 2023; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, that on this 11thday of September2023, the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca, on behalf of the Town and its residents, expresses its sincere appreciationand gratitude to Lori
Shurtleff for her distinguished and dedicated service to our community.
