TB Resolution 2023 -174: Authorization to award and execute contract for QA/QC services for the Town of Ithaca 2023 Coddington/Troy Pump Station Backup Generator Water Improvement
Whereas, the Town Engineer has developed preliminary documents for the 2023 Town of Ithaca Coddington/Troy Pump Station Backup Generator Water Improvement (Improvement) construction
contract and wishes to have a quality assurance and constructability review completed on the documents; and
Whereas, Barton & Loguidice has submitted a proposal to complete the review, dated October 16, 2023, for a fee not to exceed of $6,750; and
Whereas, the Town Engineer has reviewed the proposal and recommends it to the Town Board; and
Whereas at their meeting on November 14, 2022, The Town Board determined that approval, construction, and implementation of the Improvement are a Type II Action (TB 2022-167); and
Whereas at their meeting on November 28, 2022, the Town Board adopted a Public Interest Order (TB 2022-176) establishing the Improvement and authorizing a maximum amount of $250,000.00
to be expended on this Improvement, now therefore be it
Resolved, that the Town Board authorizes the award and execution by the Supervisor of a contract for review services to Barton and Loguidice, D.P.C, 443 Electronics Parkway, Liverpool,
NY 13088, subject to approval of the contract documents by the Director of Engineering and review by the Attorney for the Town.
