TB Resolution 2024 -027: Authorization to Award Contract for the Detailed Construction Drawings, Specifications Preparation, and Grant Research and Writing Services for the Town Hall
Facility Lighting and Weatherization Renovation Project
Whereas on February 5, 2024, the Director of Engineering (Director) received proposals for the Town of Ithaca Detailed Construction Drawings, Specifications Preparation, and Grant Research
and Writing Services for the Town Hall Lighting and Weatherization Renovation Project (Project), and
Whereas members of Town Staff have reviewed the proposals and qualifications of the firms, and has recommended the award of a fixed fee of $199,623.50 (One Hundred Ninety Nine Thousand
Six Hundred Twenty Three Dollars and Fifty Cents) and a reimbursable cost allowance of $1,500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents) to complete the Task A items to T.Y.
Lin Engineering & Architecture, P.C. (T.Y. Lin), and
Whereas T.Y. Lin has provided hourly billable rates for the anticipated staff that would be involved in the preparation of the various materials associated with Task B, now therefore
be it
Resolved that the Director is authorized a maximum amount of $48,876.50 (Forty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy Six Dollars and Fifty Cents) for T.Y. Lin to complete Task B items
and contract amendments, without further authorization from the Town Board, and be it further
Resolved that the total contract amount shall not exceed $250,000.00 (Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents), and be it further
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the award and execution by the Supervisor of a contract for the Project to T.Y. Lin Engineering & Architecture, P.C., 255 East Ave, Rochester,
NY 14604, subject to approval of the contract documents by the Director and review by the Attorney for the Town.
