TB Resolution 2024- 136: Recognition ofDavid Squires’ Dedicated Years of Service
Whereas,David Squireshas served the Town of Ithaca with dedication for oversix years; and
Whereas,Davidwas appointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals on April 9, 2018,and acted as Chair since January, 2022, and
Whereas,Davidbrought his experience and familiarity with Tompkins County properties from his tenure as the County’s Finance Director when hearing appeals, and
Whereas,David was diligent in his responsibilities as Chair, missing only one meeting throughout his tenure, and
Whereas, the Town of Ithaca is grateful for David’s service and has greatly benefited from his thoughtful review of applications and projects and his desire to serve our municipality;
and
Whereas, the Town of Ithaca is indebted to David for his invaluable contributions to the community; now, therefore, be it
Resolved thatthe Town Board of the Town of Ithaca, on behalf of the Town and its residents, expresses its sincere appreciationand gratitude to David Squires for hisyears of dedicated
service to our community.
