Resolved that the governing Town Board hereby authorizes the payment of the said vouchers in total for the amounts indicated:

TB Resolution 2025 - 016d: Appointment of Planning Board Member
Whereas there is a vacant Planning Board Member position due to a resignation, and the Selection Committee recommends appointing Vincent Ferrara, 190 Pleasant Grove Rd, to the position
for the remainder of an active term ending December 31, 2030; and, therefore, be it
Resolved that the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca does hereby appoint Vincent Ferrara as a Planning Board Member for the term of January 27, 2025, through December 31, 2030.
TB Resolution 2025 – 016e: Approve Provisional Appointment of GIS Analyst - Villanueva
Whereas there is a vacancy in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst position for the Engineering Department; and
Whereas the Interview Committee interviewed eight candidates from an open recruitment for the position; and
Whereas the Committee has determined that Max Villanueva possess the necessary knowledge and skills to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position; and
Whereas Dave O’Shea, Director of Engineering, appointed Max Villanueva as GIS Analyst, effective February 10, 2025; now, therefore be it
Resolved the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca does hereby approve the provisional appointment of Max Villanueva as GIS Analyst for the Engineering Department, effective February 10,
2025; and be it further
Resolved the position is at 40 hours per week, at the hourly wage of $41.70, which is an estimated annual salary of $86,736 from A1440.100, in Job Classification “F”, with full time
benefits; and be it further
Resolved, the said appointment is a provisional appointment pending the results from the next civil service exam for this position.
