Resolved, that the Town Board approves and/or adopts the following Consent Agenda items:
Approval of Minutes
Approval of Town of Ithaca Abstract
Approval of a Temporary Stipend for Deputy Town Clerks
Approval of a Temporary Stipend for Maintenance Worker
Approval of a new Cleaning Contract for Public Works and Town Hall
Approval and authorization to execute a contract with Doyle Security for Upgrades to the Door Access System

TB Resolution 2025-026a:Approval of Town Board Minutes
Resolved that the Town Board approves the draft minutes of the meetings of February 10, 2025, as submitted, with non-substantive changes made.
TB Resolution 2025-026b: Town of Ithaca Abstract No. 4 for FY-2025
Resolvedthat the governing Town Board hereby authorizes the payment of the said vouchers in total for the amounts indicated.

TB Resolution 2025-026c: Approval of a temporary stipend for Deputy Town Clerks
Whereas, Paulette Rosa, Town Clerk,has been out on leave since December 23, 2024, and expected to be out for several weeks; and
WhereasAshley Colbert and Monica Moll, Deputy Town Clerks,have taken on further responsibilities during this absence including covering additional night meetings; and
Whereas the Town Supervisor and Human Resources Manager recommendsproviding a $25 per week stipend temporarily for the period of time that Ms. Rosa is on leave; and
Whereas, the Personnel & Organization Committee has reviewed and discussed the proposal and recommends the $25 per week temporary wage adjustments for Ashley Colbert and Monica Moll;
now, therefore be it
Resolved the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca does hereby approve providing Ashley Colbert and Monica Moll, Deputy Town Clerks, with a temporary stipend of $25 per week for the period
of weeks that Paulette Rosa is on leave, which will be paid in a lump sum payment.
TB Resolution 2025–026d:Approval of a temporary stipend for Maintenance Worker
Whereas, Joe Hulbert, Maintenance Supervisor,has been out on leave since January 13, 2025 and expected to be out for several weeks; and
WhereasPat Barnes, Maintenance Worker,has agreed to take on further responsibilities during this absence including emergency response; and
Whereas the Director of Public Works and Human Resources Manager recommendsproviding a $50 per week stipend temporarily for the period of time that Mr. Hulbert is on leave; and
Whereas, the Personnel & Organization Committee has reviewed and discussed the proposal and recommends the $50 per week temporary wage adjustment for Mr. Barnes; now, therefore be it
Resolved the Town Board of the Town of Ithaca does hereby approve providing Pat Barnes, Maintenance Worker, with a temporary stipend of $50 per week for the period of weeks that Joe
Hulbert is on leave, which will be paid in a lump sum payment.
TB Resolution 2025–026e: Authorization to Award Emergency Commercial Cleaning Contract for Town Hall and Public Works Facility
Whereas, the Town has received notice from R & M Cleaning on January 28th, 2025, that they would be terminating their contract with the Town on February 26th, 2025and
Whereas, the Director of Public Works has reached out to Castle Cleaning Services of Ithaca, LLC, to fulfill the tasks in the terminated contract for the remainder of the year for both
Town Hall and Public Works; and
Whereas,Castle Cleaning Services of Ithaca, LLC, quote for fulling the services for the remainder of the year was the same monthly price as the contract that is terminating with R &
M Cleaning and
Whereas, the Town will be readvertising the contract at the end of 2025; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, the Town Board hereby authorizes the Town Supervisor to sign the commercial cleaning contract with Castle Services of Ithaca, LLC effective February 27, 2025 through December
31st 2025.
TB Resolution 2025–026f: Approval and authorization to execute a contract with Doyle Security for Upgrades to the Door Access System
Whereas the Director of Engineering, Director of Public Works and Human Resources Manager have met with Doyle Security regarding upgrades needed to the existing access control system
for Public Works Facility and Town Hall; and
Whereas the Personnel and Organizational Committee have reviewed the scope of work and additional costs and recommended the Town move forward with the upgrades in preparation for adding
more access doors with the 2025 Town Hall Court and Mezzanine project, now therefore be it
Resolved that the Town Board approves and authorizes the Town Supervisor to execute an agreement with Doyle Security for the upgrades to the existing access control system at a cost
not to exceed $16,000 and the revised annual service agreement.
