TB Resolution 2025–083: SEQR: Regarding “A Local Law Amending Town of Ithaca Code Chapter 270, Zoning, Article XXVI, Special Regulations, Regarding Short-Term Rental Use Regulations
in the Conservation Zone”
Whereas, this action is the adoption of a local law amending Town of Ithaca Code Chapter 270, Zoning, Article XXVI, Special Regulations, Regarding Short-Term Rental Use Regulations in
the Conservation Zone; and
Whereas, this is an Unlisted Action for which the Town Board is acting in an uncoordinated environmental review with respect to this action; and
Whereas, the Town Board, at a meeting held on August 11, 2025, has reviewed, and accepted as adequate, the Short Environmental Assessment Form, Parts 1-3 for this action, prepared by
Town Planning staff; now, therefore be it
Resolved, that the Town of Ithaca Town Board hereby makes a negative determination of environmental significance in accordance with Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation Law and
6 NYCRR Part 617 New York State Environmental Quality Review, for the above referenced action as proposed, based on the information in the SEAF Part 1 and for the reasons set forth in
the SEAF Parts 2 and 3, and, therefore, a Draft Environmental Impact Statement will not be required.Moved: Susie GutenbergerSeconded: Eric Levine Vote: ayes – Gutenberger, Levine,
