TBResolution 2025 - 094:Authorizationforthe Town Supervisorto sign a Contract Amendment withBarton & Loguidice, DPC forConstruction Administration and Inspections Services associatedwith
the King Rd West Box Culvert Rehabilitation Project
Whereas,theTownBoardauthorized a contract amendment to Barton & Loguidice, DPC (B&L)to create detailed construction drawings and specifications for a fixed fee of $27,000.00for the services
with a total contract amount, including contingency, that shall not exceed Forty Six Thousand One Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents ($46,100), which is an aggregate fee of $14,600 for Part
A, $27,000 for Part B, and $4,500 for contingencyby TB Resolution 2024-097, and
Whereas,the Director of Engineering (Director) requested B&L to provide a proposal to assist in Construction Administration and Inspection Services for the project, and
Whereas, B&L provided a Fee Not to Exceed Proposal of $17,500 for the requested services. Servies will be billed bason on the time and materials spent performing said services, and
Whereas,theDirectorhasreviewedtheproposalandrecommendsthecontractberevisedtoincorporate the additional services and the total, maximum contract amount be increased to Fifty Nine Thousand
One Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents ($59,100.00). This value reflects a reduction of the $4,500 contingency that was not utilized during the design phase ; now, therefore be it
Resolved, that the Town Board authorizes execution by the Supervisor of a contract amendment with Barton & Loguidice DPC, 443 Electronics Parkway, Liverpool, NY 13088, to include the
additional services and to increasing the total, maximum contract amount to $59,100.00, subject to approval of the contract documents by the Director.Moved:Rich DePaoloSeconded:Rod Howe
