TB Resolution 2026 - 011: Authorization to Award Contract for 2026 Townwide Material Testing and Monitoring Services
Whereas, the Town has contracted with Atlantic Testing Laboratories, 6431 US Highway 11, Canton NY 13617 for Professional Geotechnical Engineer for the past 4 years, to perform various
testing and monitoring services for certain townwide capital improvement projects to ensure contractors are adhering to proper construction techniques as outlined in Town specifications;
and
Whereas, the Director of Engineering has reviewed the proposal for fiscal year 2026 and recommends renewing the contract with Atlantic Testing Laboratories under the terms submitted,
now therefore be it
Resolved, that the Town Board authorizes the award of the contract for the 2026 Town of Ithaca Townwide Material Testing and Monitoring Services to Atlantic Testing Laboratories; and
be it further
Resolved, that the Town Supervisor is authorized to execute such contract subject to review of the final contract documents by the Town Engineer and Attorney for the Town.
