A G R E E M E N T
THIS AGREEMENT made as of the 13t day of January, 1959-,
by and between
TOWN OF ITHACA., Tompkins County, New York, party of

e first part, and

CORNELL LIBRARY AS,SOCIA-L rpON of Ithaca New York., party
of the second part;
WITNESSETH., that the parties hereto., pursuant to the
provisions of the Education Law of the State of New York., do
hereby mutually covenant and agree:
1. The party of the second part shall henceforth
and as long as this contract is in force furnish free library
privaleges to the people of the Town of Ithaca, Tompkins County,
New York, in accordance with and pursuant to the rules and
regulations of the party of the second part.
2. In consideration of the foregoing, the party of
the first part does hereby appropriate the sum of Two Thousand
Dollars (k('?2,000) and shall pay the same to the party of the
"Decond part during the calendar year 1959. Pursuant to statute
such sums shall be a charge upon the said town and shall be

raised, appropriated and paid in the same manner as other town
charges.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF., the parties hereto have duly
executed and delivered this agreement as of the day and year above
mentioned.
