Good morning, I just finished walking around whole building to see who has A/C and who does not out of 104 apts total. The time is 1036am and it's already 84 degrees and very humid. First floor has 25 people without A/C. Second floor has 19 people without A/C. Yeats a total of 44 apts with out A/C out of 104 apts. As we both know this is a vulnerable aging and disabled community of people who are 55+years old. Most units are very small, only 3 large units,very old. Many clearly need maintenance as debri is in the "thru wall unit". These folks can not do on their own physically. So it looks like all large the A/C thru wall units installed in 2006 remodel project thru HUD and Urban Renewal are intact all gone! Not surprising after 16 year now with no replacements or servicing. People have purchased their own units,very small ones in living room not able to cool off bedroom adequately without additional fans, which also present tripping incidents. 1 I am doing this research as I am concerned about my community here of elderly and frail, disabled and sick residents not able to achieve cool temperatures in their home. We all know about the dangers, death and hospitalizations as a result of hear. I am asking, pleading that you continue to fund out Conifer Realtys responsibility in all this. We do pay$90.00 a season towards electric costs and your website says all utilities are included. Please clarify in lease Conifers position on A/C in this senior apt complex. All other properties are constructed with central air in all units.This building according to documents online was built in 1973 with remodel in 2006.
