Meeting called to order at 8t10 PoMa
Members present were : Chairman Liguori , Vasse , W ` ggins ,
Perry ,
Also prevent were : Supervisor Ben Boynton , 114ro Harold Kaulav
fuss , Assessor Robert J . Wells , Co. .Y stance E . Cook , James
Longest , and Mrs . Chupp
Mr .. Kaulfuss on the Master Plan. Chairman Liguor:I presented
Mr . _aro au uss , a representative from the New Fork State
Commerce Department ,
Mr . Kaulfuss discussed generally the require
mems and processes by which the Town could become eligible
for the 701 Plan for Federal and State Aid on the further
development of the Town Coy—prehensive or Master Plan , Ile
explained what - the plan could do for the Town in such matters
as subdivisions , zoning , and capital improvements . The
total cost , 2/3 of which would be paid by the Federal_ govern
merit with the remaining divided equally between the 'Town and
the States would be approximately ' 810 , 000 ,

• Discussion followed on whether the Tote should
have fixed zones for business , industry , residences , etc . ,
or whether it should have a floating policy so thcat zone
changes could be made where compatible . Discussion also
took place on whether the Town needs to have further studies
such as described by Mr . Kaulfuss or whether' it should
spend the money on construction of much needed water and
sewer facilities . The general feeling of the Board was that
water and sewer problems are of major concern at this point ,
However , Mr . Liguo ?"i will invite professional planning,, con-
sultants to talk with the Board on the Master Plan ,

oar d wit a map of is property and explained the proposed
development of ' part of his land along with a tract owned by
Arthur Prince off Homestead Road , not yet applied for -,, He
explained the proposed roadways which will be built by Prance
and the general layout of the lots . The Board made sugrrestions
and asked that definite plants be drawn up for presentation
to the Board ,
Franklin Sub - division Mr . Franklin did not a., - pear before
e oard as requested for review of his subdivision plans ,
Motion was made by Vasse and seconded by Wiggins that in
accordance with the provisions of Section 277 of Town Law and
• the authority vested in the Planning Board by the Town Board. ,

the Zoning Officer is hereby instructed not to issue any
further building permits in the F'rarlklin Subdivision until
the status of the subdivision is clarified . Unanimously
carried .
Official Town Maa Chairman Liguori requested a copy of the
recently completed official Town nap for the Planning Board
files .
Recreational Facility Committee Mrs , Chupp instructed
y Chairman iguori to wrato either Donald Ball or
Alfred Cook requesting a progress report from the committee
appointed to study neighborhood recreational area needs in
the Town of Ithacao

Proposed road between Pine Tree and Snyder Hill Roads
The question of placing a proposed road between �ne Tree
Road and Snyder Mill Road on the official Town Nap was
discussed . Supervisor Boynton explained that a public hearing
must be held . before it can be placed on the map , Motion
was made by Perm and seconded by Vasse to enclorse the pra .v;
poral of the ; -Town ' Board to enter on the map the
prdpo ed road which runs between Snyder Hill Road and rine
Tree Road as shown on the map dated April 209 1960 by
K . 0 , Parsons and dtsignated as Road No . to Unanimously
carried .
