Adjourn Please call (607-273-1747) or email (msmith@town.ithaca.ny.us) if you cannot attend Town of Ithaca Agriculture Committee Meeting Tuesday,July 31,2018 Final Minutes Members Present: Michael Casper, Claire Forest, Russ Wedemeyer, Christianne White Town Representatives: Mike Smith (Senior Planner), Bill Goodman (Town Supervisor) Guests: Robert Shields (Indian Creek Farm) Members present decided to start meeting at 7:10pm. Bill volunteered to run the meeting. 2. Member announcements: Russ said that he has submitted a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)for his new barn/indoor arena. He is looking for help in moving this through the Town process. 3. Coordinator report: Mike mentioned that a new PDR application was received for a 52 acre property on Bostwick Road. The Town has authorized an appraisal. Mike asked about doing another Town Board farm tour this fall. Bill and the group wanted to continue these tours. 4. Ithaca Town Board report: Bill provided updates on the drafting of short term rental regulations, the noise ordinance, the progress of the Inlet Valley zoning, the deer management committee, and the new form based zoning for high density areas. 8. Other Business: Bill mentioned that there is a permaculture event at EcoVillage coming up in late August with the new Three Story Farm. Mike Casper updated the group on his research license for hemp plants and how the 6,000 plants were doing. He also discussed the issues with limited local testing and processing.
